Run your restaurant from your phone
Photo-proof closing checks, supplier price rises caught the day they happen, and waste counted in dollars — without standing in the kitchen at midnight.
What owners tell us
The question you answer forty times a shift
"What's on today?" "When am I in next?" "How many hours have I done?" Every one of them is a message to a manager who is doing something else.
What Oversee does: Every employee has an assistant in the app, in their own language, that answers from their own tasks, rota and hours — and opens a leave request for them when they ask. The manager hears about it once, when there is something to decide.
The close that was ticked but not done
The closing list comes back complete every night. You walk in at 7am to a walk-in that has not been touched, and there is nothing to point at except a tick.
What Oversee does: Tasks can require a photograph, and the photograph carries the date, time and place written into the picture itself. You see the walk-in, not a tick — and it still proves something when you forward it to your landlord.
The supplier who raises prices quietly
A case goes up four dollars in March, two more in June. Nobody notices until the year is over and the food cost has moved three points.
What Oversee does: Every unit cost is kept with its supplier. The moment a new cost is entered, Oversee works out the percentage and flags the line in red — and exports the variance list for your accountant.
Waste nobody writes down
Spoiled produce goes in the bin and out of memory. At the end of the month there is a number you cannot explain.
What Oversee does: Staff log waste in seconds with a reason — expired, dropped, made wrong. Oversee prices it from the item's own cost at that moment, so a later price change never rewrites history.
Shift changes that drop work
The closer calls in sick, somebody covers, and half the closing list quietly belongs to nobody.
What Oversee does: Hand a shift to whoever covers it and the unstarted tasks go with it. Anything past its time escalates to the manager on that site, and then above them.
A closing list that looks like yours
Set it once and it appears every night at the right site, for the right position, with the proof each line needs.
- Walk-in cooler — deep clean, photo required
- Fryers filtered and oil level logged
- Line coolers wiped, gaskets checked
- Prep dated and rotated, oldest to the front
- Waste logged with reason
- Floor drains flushed — photo required
- Cash drop witnessed and recorded
Common questions
Do my staff need training to use it?
They open the app, see today's list, tap a task, take the photo. Most people are through their first shift without asking anybody. The app follows the language their phone is set to — ten of them.
What if there is no signal in the walk-in?
The list and the photographs are kept on the phone and sent the moment there is signal again. A basement with no bars does not stop a count or a proof.
Can I see more than one restaurant?
Yes. Each site has its own lists, staff and reports, and each is billed on its own. The live board shows every site at once.
Start with your own checklist — Fourteen days, no card. Build the real list for your site and watch it come back with the proof attached.
